THOSE THREE LITTLE WORDS

No, I've not turned soppy on you.
I'm talking about "3 for 2" every girl's favourite beauty offer.
I've discovered some savvy saviours that are all available on offer right now.

It all started when pictures of the Urban Decay 'naked vault' went viral at Christmas, I was adamant I would be able to find a dupe for each of the palettes without the £38 price tag, but for months all of my efforts were to no avail.

It seemed no reasonably priced brand was able to provide a long lasting, non creasing, even and heavily pigmented palette that came close to the Naked range. (not that I had a long list of requirements or anything)

That was, until, I stumbled across a brand called "REVOLUTION" in Superdrug. The palettes aesthetics instantly reminded me of Urban Decay and as if that wasn't enough, the stand actually had "dupe" written underneath.

left: essential shimmers, centre: romantic smoked, right: iconic 3.

Their version is called the 'iconic' palette.

They're also named iconic 1, iconic 2 & iconic 3 - so they're easy to identify which dupe is which.

However, there are so many more palettes available, I literally wanted them all but narrowed them down to the three pictured above.

There were tonnes of colours and shimmer/matte finishes to choose from and that wasn't even the best part.

The Revolution palettes are FOUR POUNDS each and currently on the 3 for 2 offer in Superdrug.

I was so happy with the quality of this brand I've now purchased:

- ultra face base primer
- sculpt and contour kit in 'medium 04'
- and baked highlighter in 'golden lights' too.

And as if enough brands weren't taking a hit; move over Anastasia Beverley Hills, 'Seventeen Cosmetics' have produced an amazing brow kit that provides everything you need to keep your brow game strong.

It's called "Brow's That" (£5.99 boots.com) it includes
- an eyebrow pencil
- application brush
- coloured wax
- coloured powder
- highlight powder.

Its the only kit that I've not needed to make additions too.

Plus the wax means all my hairs stay perfectly aligned.
No wolverine moments here.
Now when I apply makeup to my eyebrows, everything I use is all in one place.

The kit was on a 'buy one get one half price' offer at Boots so I also purchased the "falsifeye HD" mascara (£6.99 boots.com)

which I highly recommend
It's like Benefit 'roller lash' and 'they're real' combined but without the clumps and flakiness. Hands down, the best mascara I've tried for years!

And finally, my cheapest bargain buys all under THREE POUNDS and under.

So I initially started out highlighting with Benefit's 'High Beam' which, after numerous attempts of applying always seemed to either rub take my foundation off or disappear after any contact with my face.
I was hugely disappointed as it's not cheap.
I wanted a powder version that would provide the staying power I needed.

1) MUA 'undress your skin highlighting powder' shimmer highlighter is the perfect colour match to 'high beam' it's pink and pearly - perfect for spring and only £3 in Superdrug!

MAC fans brace yourself, I have found two perfect match lip liners at £1.99 from Boots' Natural Collection!

2) YASH matte lipstick matched with Almond lip liner
3) SPIRIT satin lipstick matched with Espresso lip liner

I hope these bargains become part of your makeup collection as they've saved me a fortune!
