I think we all dived in head first when the two piece trend arrived.

Whether it was a bandage material ensemble, the Kim K ruched design or the Kendall plunging neckline suit, most of us jumped on the band wagon and love it.

But the 'two piece' phase has evolved.

Move over pencil skirts and tapered legs, the culottes are making waves and show no sign of slowing down yet.
I was shopping in the Bullring, Birmingham and ended up in Forever 21 (which by the way is fast becoming one of my favourite places to grab something on trend and affordable)
Then lo and behold, I found my miracle outfit - this amazing grid print two piece which had everything I was looking for.

As soon as I saw it hanging on the rack it instantly reminded me of an Acne photoshoot I'd seen on tumblr.

Acne lookbook

A boxy cropped shirt - keep your eyes peeled for these they're going to be everywhere soon.

And baggy super wide cullottes - both items will look amazing separate but together it was exactly what I was looking for.
