RELAXED TAILORING

When I see smart/casual as a dress code, I immediately dread the excess amount of outfits I know I'll try on.
We spend forever rummaging through our wardrobes in an attempt to get the smart:casual ratio right.
But fret no more, here comes the saviour of relaxed tailoring.

Go for clean-lined key separates in matching colours - e.g. trousers & duster coat // culottes & sleeveless jacket.
Then tone it down by adding the casual element - make a statement by using a slogan tee rather than a shirt or trainers instead of boots.
It doesn't need to be complicated by adding lots of accessories or prints, keep the look simple and as though it was effortless.

I hope this makes things easier when you next see the term smart/casual!
