This is my first ever request blog post!
I added a few photos of myself wearing this on my snapchat and a lot of people asked me whether I would be making a blog post about it so I thought why not?

If you've read my previous few posts you'll know that I am obsessed with this colour right now.
This muted pink tone looks so effortless and classy which is exactly why I can't get enough of it. It's the type of colour you can wear in a range of shades and it still looks co-ordinated. I wore it in three varying shades; seen on my fur coat, trousers and trainers. I think they worked really well altogether. Then, to break it up slightly, I added a crisp white jersey top.

As always, I use key pieces rather than a clad of accessories and overworked layers. I find that my wardrobe is much easier to mix and match when I go for classic pieces as oppose to fad trend led garments. Whenever I'm making a purchase, I think whether I can see myself wearing it with two or more things I already own.
In doing this you:
a) find out whether you're actually going to get your wear out of it
b) stop yourself from impulse buying this piece as well as any other pieces you would have had to buy to have something to wear with the piece you shouldn't have bought in the first place!

Clean-lined tailored pieces are heaven sent.
I have these cropped trousers in three colour ways I'm that addicted! They fit me really well and I love how versatile they are, so I knew I would get the wear out of each pair. I also love the crease line that runs down the middle. It's a really nice detail that I think makes them look more expensive, particularly in this colour.
I wore them with a low pony, trainers and a longline high-neck jersey top which made the look feel sports-luxe and simplistic. Then to make a statement, I gave it the 'OTT Patsy' from Absolutely Fabulous signature style with a huge faux fur coat and cat eye sunnies.

When I saw these trainers at work they reminded me of something you would see in &otherstories so I was over the moon when I realised they were only £24. I've never bought unbranded trainers before but these were too good to ignore. I just love how minimal and cool they look.
I've seen a lot of this perforated/mesh style design coming through this season from places like Topshop (see here) and ASOS. It's a design that I think will be wearable for a long time so I was happy to invest into the trend. I'm especially looking forward to styling them with some cute shift dresses when the weather warms up.
