If you're not emotionally or financially ready to purchase your Autumn/Winter wardrobe then this post is for you, clever reworks and savvy shopping will help you reorganise your wardrobe stress free, I promise!

The trick to reworking your wardrobe is focussing on pieces that will be suitable for the British weather we unforunately have to face.
Layering is going to be essential.

In this look, I've taken my fave denim shift dress which I've worn to death over summer with my flatform sandals and styled it in my new Autumn feel. Reworking this was so simple, all I've done is substitute my sandals for a pair of peep-toe boots and added a longline utility style bomber jacket. The key to making this look Autumnal was the colour scheme.
Sticking to darker colours is the most obvious choice and I think it looks really effective.

If you're determined to purchase your new wardrobe pieces the best advice I could give you is to take advantage of the timing. The mid-season sales are all in full swing right now, don't ignore the summer stock you'll see on the sale rails!! Invest in those dirt cheap simple summer pieces, for example a black cami dress or playsuit then switch it up by layering a turtle neck and a pair of tights underneath.
You're given a fab new outfit at a super low cost.
