IT'S FASHION WEEK what better time to get some amazing inspo for your spring wardrobe.
Despite the catwalks being a season ahead, there's some amazing street style posts floating around on social media at the moment especially those featuring the mini skirt.

I'm trying to get back into routine with Sunday styling posts so I hope you enjoy it.

Mini skirts are popping up all over the high street right now, and when it comes to colour, print or texture - the bolder the better.
Metallic, embroidered and studded designs are taking the spotlight so if your courageous with your style, definitely splurge on a showstopping number. However, if you're like me and like to dip your toes into trends rather than dive in head first, choose a simplistic version like my pastel A-line or a subtle floral print.

As always, I think of alternative outfits and felt this pretty pink hue would slip into my wardrobe seamlessly. This skirt is proof that investing wisely despite not being a pricey investment piece pays off. I purchased this skirt last year in Dublin for £14.99 from New Look yet it's still as fashionably relevant today as it was when I purchased it a year ago.

I kept the colour scheme to a minimum as I wanted to keep the focus on the skirt and my studded bag. I'm only 5ft3 and this will seem illogical I know, but mini skirts often make me look even shorter, so I always wear a higher heel like the boots shown to elongate my frame giving the illusion that I'm taller.
