savvy styling by Annie Probert

Underwear is a fundamental aspect of dressing and as us Brits grow ever braver with our style and move away from the prudes we once were, underwear is no longer under wear. We've adapted to showcasing our undies, whether it be fishnet tights, satin slips or a mesh bodysuit - we're obsessed.

I'm a sucker for a girlie trend and this one shows no sign of fading away or lack of reinvention. The 'underwear as outerwear' trend has adapted once more to what I like to think of as "overwear".

This look is so easy to achieve and super cheap!
I'm sure most of you will already own a black lace bralet or even a soft lace bra.
If not, don't panic - H&M have a huge selection for around £8-12.
Simply layer it over a  shirt or T-shirt (any colour will work) and thats it.
Your look is complete.
I styled it as a last resort when I had one of those moments where you feel like everything you've ever bought is hideous but I fell in love with the result.

Mix it up with thigh highs, trainers or heels depending on where your going.
PS this also looks fab with mesh instead of lace.
versatile // cheap // on trend
What more could you ask for?

I hope you liked the look
