HI MY NAME IS ANNIE AND IF I WANT TO WEAR A PINK PEARLY HAT, I WILL.

Welcome to self-confidence 101.
Lol jk - honestly, I'd be lying if I said I'm 100% confident in myself, but I do happen to wear what I want without being worried whether I'm too OTT (quite a lot).
Please do have a read if you'd like to also take on the Patsy Stone attitude to life.

I picked up this fabulous little beret in toppers about 6 weeks ago, and thought yes or rather yaaaaaas. This hat is v. much a "bita me" and within a blink, I was strolling out the store on my hunt for my next new purchase (after a quick selfie I sent to the boyf, naturally.) I had a very candid conversation with my new London blogger friend @katiepenny this weekend and we spoke about her hesitance to purchase her first baker boy hat. We mentioned the typical issues that us twenty-something girls often face; the wearability and the price but most prominently, the judgement of others. This isn't a rare occurrence. We've all at some point chose not to purchase something because we think people will judge us but I can happily say that it's been a long time since that reason stopped me from buying something I love!

The first few times you purchase something on a whim and dress yourself in it's fabulous entirety, you may feel self conscious or a bit extra for the big shop but you definitely won't regret it. I've had some crazy outfits over the years and people often make comments about how weird some of the things are that I wear. I remember working in retail and being the only one to get a pair of faux leather cullottes on my uniform - this was absurd and so "Annie". To be fair, I did style them with a large fedora that I had an obsession with at the time, but nevertheless, six months later everyone was wearing jersey cullottes to work and I was onto the next "crazy" trend.

Wearing something you love boosts your confidence - so next time you're shopping maybe try something a little out of your confidence zone. You won't regret it!
